Payments & Charges

Deposit is collected on the day the contract is signed. The deposit amount is based on 50% space rental and 50% estimated beverage package costs. Beverage packages, final guest count and final payment for the event are due 2 weeks prior to the event.

Because weekend dates book so far in advance, be sure to book your wedding or special event now. As wedding’s take many months to plan, most Friday, Saturday and Sunday dates can be fully booked up to six months out… be sure to allow yourself enough advance time to book our space.

Cancellation

River Room will offer a refund if the client chooses to cancel within 7 days of booking. Beyond that, River Room will refund the client’s deposit less a $1,000 cancellation fee if submitted more than 3 months prior to the event date. Cancellations submitted less than 3 months from the event date booked will result in loss of the total deposit paid.

NOnPROFIT

River Room is a community and neighborhood oriented facility. We aim to help and support good causes. We offer reduced rates for Nonprofits. Pricing varies based on availability and timing. 

Hold

We allow a 5 day courtesy hold on any one available date. The date will be agreed upon in writing. After the 5 day courtesy hold, another party can challenge the hold. We will give you 48 hours to decide if you want to move forward with the rental. Once the 48 hours have passed, we will release the space to another interested party.

LIABILITY INSURANCE

We require Special Event Liability Insurance for your event. Certificates are due no later than thirty (30) days prior to your event date. The insurance must have a single liability limit of not less than $1 million and a general aggregate liability limit of not less than $2 million.

Glitter and Confetti (Or Balloons filled with glitter or confetti) are not permitted.
